RANDOLPH COUNTY COMMISSION MINUTES
Thursday, August 29, 2013
The Honorable Commission convened at the Huntsville Courthouse with the following present: Susan Carter, Presiding Commissioner and Jerry Crutchfield, Western District Commissioner. In the absence of Deputy Clerk Shelby Creed, Com. Carter recorded the minutes.
1:00 p.m. Com. Carter called the meeting to order and moved approval of the agenda. Com. Crutchfield seconded and motion passed (2-0).
Com. Carter reported on her attendance this morning at the Region B tabletop exercise in Moberly.
Com. Crutchfield reported on his inspection this morning of the Jail recreation area drainage project beginning at the Justice Center.
Com. Crutchfield reported Dale Herron arrived earlier in the day to discuss road maintenance issues. Mr. Herron reported that he received a complaint from a citizen that certain roads in the Darksville area are mislabeled on the county map. Commissioners will look into it.
Commissioners received a request for mowing on CR 1675. The request will be relayed to the Road and Bridge Department.
Commissioners reviewed invoices for payment. Following review, Com. Crutchfield made a motion to approve invoices as presented. Com. Carter seconded, motion passed (2-0), and checks were signed.
Commissioners reviewed payroll checks and payroll direct deposits. Following review, Com. Crutchfield made a motion to approve payments as presented. Com. Carter seconded, motion passed (2-0), and checks were signed.
2:15 p.m. Jennifer Wilson, nForm Architecture, arrived to visit with Commissioners concerning the county facility analysis.
3:00 p.m. Com. Carter recessed the regular meeting so Commissioners could attend Assessor Richard Tregnago’s swearing in ceremony in the County Clerk’s office.
3:20 p.m. Com. Carter reconvened the meeting. Commissioners handled correspondence noting receipt of approval from MoDOT that right of way for the CR 2660 BRO-BO88 (21) bridge project has been approved and the project can now move forward.
Huntsville Mayor Debbie Webster arrived seeking permission to enter the old county farm building to retrieve property belonging to the Huntsville Community Club. Commissioners advised her to proceed with caution.
4:00 p.m. Meeting was adjourned.
